I am Child

Those little shiny rain drops,
they fall down on me
In those little tiny pops.
Dark to life underneath.

Where do they come from?
Where do they go?
I stare deeply at this mystic show.

I thought I knew them,
Watched for a lifetime,
but funny thing is they...
they still amaze me.

Like diamonds in the skies,
Fall to earth; they cuddle.
Breaking my fragile eyes.
I can't see this puddle.

Wasn't I out?
Is it bigger tan I thought?
No idea, it makes me shout.
Life is more than what is bought.

Grow tall, grow fit,
Catch the drops, every one.
Get them before they hit.
Best them all, before they've won.

Too small, too tiny,
I can barely breathe.
I am blinded; they are shiny.
Puddles suck, let me leave.

Leave the lake which I was born,
Leave into the life of the sun and the snow.
Into wilderness where life's been torn.
Bigger chance bigger challenge, make me grow.
